Amid ice, snow, and power outages . . .

Snow fell Tuesday of this week and in the afternoon it turned to sleet. By nightfall it was raining and Wednesday morning our world was coated with ice. By 8:30 AM, the airport lost electricity and those who braved the elements to get to work went home. The power stayed off most of the day, coming on to stay about 10:15 PM.

A week earlier, on the 21st, Ray and Carol Williams came to MMS Aviation to pick up their Bellanca Viking airplane. MMS mechanics performed an annual inspection of the plane and finished it that day. Ray is president of I CARE Inc. The primary mission of I CARE, Inc. has been that of establishing new congregations, training and educating Christian leaders, and caring for the health needs of people in the areas where those works are established.

Many Christian organizations, like I CARE, operate one or two planes in support of their ministry. We are happy to help them by providing top quality aircraft maintenance while stretching their maintenance dollars.

David Mozombite, Gertian Kamphorst and Ian Hengst facilitate the departure as the Williams head home to Yuma, Arizona.
